We’re thrilled to announce that leading English cellist Colin Carr will be a special guest at the 2013 Adam Chamber Music Festival.
As if that isn’t good enough, he has also agreed to perform all the Bach Cello Suites in a special concert in Nelson Cathedral on Sunday 3rd February. These have been performed by Colin at top venues and festivals worldwide and is a real coup for our festival.
Colin Carr is one of the most insightful and communicative cellists performing today. This unique event is sure to be a profound and uplifting experience.
Of course Colin will be collaborating with our other special guests too during the Festival and a very good example of passion personified will be experienced when he and Diedre Irons perform the Rachmaninoff Cello Sonata in G minor on Thursday 7th February.
